Title: intermittent operation door lock remote
Post by: TonyZappone #2624 on October 31, 2021, 03:51:05 PM
Noticed this am that the remote would only lock or unlock doors intermittently.  Lights flash, but buttons don't move.  Inside car lock or unlock switch won't work either.  Lights flash, nothing happens.  Wait awhile, stuff starts working.  Goofy situation.  Anybody else run into anything like this?

Remote batteries. My Ford PU does the same thing when the batteries start getting weak in the remote. Use the spare remote with a hot battery and everything works as it should.

What is this on, Tony? May also try cleaning up the primary grounds starting at the battery connections.
