Oh Boy...that's a good question Ray....

As the memories of our grandfathers or our great grand fathers driving these cars fade.....so does the fate of the pre-war car prices....

Here is the ad of a 1928 LaSalle on BAT that sold last year around this time....$57,000 looks like it was a bargain but was it?

This current 1931 BAT entry is a beautiful piece of history....I hope his reserve, if he has one, is below $60K because I don't think it will get there...

These Prewar Lasalle cars from 1928 to 1933 are starting to go up in price within the last 5 years, I have two Prewar Lasalle cars a 1930 340 and a 1931 345A, both are 5 passenger sedans, I'm always watching the market for another one to buy for the right price, but they are getting harder to find, I have noticed the Phaeton bodied Lasalle is the more expensive

Turns out you were more right than I was Michael....

With 2 miniutes left in the auction a couple of heavy hitters showed up and ran the price up..... and it sold for $75,000 !

Nice car !!
