Title: FS: 1938 Cadillac Series 75 Town Car. $89,800 in Arizona
Post by: jdemerson on February 27, 2022, 07:59:19 AM
1938 Cadillac Series 75 Town Car. Not mine. It's a reminder of what class was in the late 30s.  This one is a V8, but is the same body as the V16 with a 141-inch wheelbase. The last year of the V12 was 1937. This restoration is roughly 25-years-old and appears to have held up very well with few miles on it. What would it cost to restore a car like this to this condition today?  Hmmm...

Note that the same seller expects to be listing a '41 Convertible 4-door model; 1941 was the last yer for that model I believe.  Sigh....

Shouldn't the dashboard be woodgrained? That poorly done marbelizing really looks bad and is glaring on a restoration that is otherwise pretty good. However, it has a concours level price without the concours level restoration.
