I am looking for a distributor tower for a military 346. Any help is appreciated.
Interesting, how do they differ?
92E03CDF-4547-4610-A34C-238656AFE78E.jpeg They feature a tach drive. Some have other things attached as well.
A tachometer drive on the stalk is the main difference I believe. Jim Stamper CLC#13470

Did you ever find the part you need?
If not, you might reach out to MVPA club members. Those engines were used in amphibious LVT and of course Chaffee & Stuart tanks.

Good reference info: https://www.modifiedcadillac.org/documents/1940s/1944/1944%20Light%20Tanks%20Service/
Another source might be The Nokesville Tank Farm (https://www.americansinwartime.org/participate/events). They have a number of tanks they maintain along with restorations. They had their annual event this weekend. Here are a couple of pictures of a Cadillac powered M-24. They had some trouble getting it started due to one of the chokes sticking. When finally started it sounded great. The engine compartment picture would have been better if taken from above the opening but they wouldn't allow climbing up on the tank. The action picture is a straightaway at about 15 to 20 mph. Harry
No luck yet. Thanks though for the suggestions.
