These two cars are listed on Facebook marketplace. I have inspected both cars. They are 38-9039 5 passenger town sedan (20 were made in 1938) and 39-9057B 5 passenger coupe (5 were made in 1939). Both have been in storage for years so I did not hear them run. Go to Facebook marketplace and search for V16 Cadillac. The cars are located in Lexington Michigan.
I have no interest in these cars or the sale. This message is posted with the intent of helping an interested buyer.

Posting a link to a video of the sedan. Again, this is not my car and I have no interest in the sale.

These appear to be the two V-16s from Doug Houston's estate.

I was thinking the same thing especially being in MI and such rare cars. Love the coupe. Harry
I can't believe that Doug Houston auction sale is coming up on 7 years ago !
Here are a couple of pictures from that sale....the two cars here could be the same ones at the sale?
Somebody must have cleaned up the coupe a little....boy I wonder what he'll ask for that coupe when the time comes....I think the Houston coupe sold for $50K back at that auction...
Anybody recognize those guys in the photo?
Mike
I'm convinced the '38 Town Sedan was Doug's based on the body tag shown in the video matching the one shown in photos from the estate auction. The coupe in the background of the video has the same front license plate and color as the one at Doug's estate auction - that could be coincidence, though.
Jeff
The linked ad is confusing. What year is the car for sale? The ad title says 1940 but it is not a 1940 car. Also the ad says the coupe in the pictures is not for sale.
