Acrylic or Bakelite? What are they? Who currently is doing restoration of these pieces? Anyone still doing it?

This is a project just waiting for some younger person to take on.  Every 38 Cadillac and LaSalle that has not had the dash replaced needs one.  Should be a good 3D printer project.  There are factory drawings floating around of most of the parts.

My friend is working on a 3d print of this. also, the original was a soybean based plastic. The heat was terrible on them.

I do have an original drawing of parts of this dash if that would be helpful to your friend.  Just copy and shipping cost.  It is a real interesting drawing.  30 revisions on it.  They were having trouble.
