I'm trying to get my headlamp doors working. I've replaced most of the vacuum tubing, verified connections on the headlight switch, but no joy.
I got this pic from the owner of a '68 that once belonged to me. Headlamp doors work on that car, but not sure about the Twilight Sentinel.
I hooked mine up like this and the doors open when you start the car. They do not close.
I wonder if someone who has one can tell me what connections they have on the left ((outboard) side of this relay behind the vacuum storage tank on the driver side. Seems like the actuator line (green) needs to be attached somehow. Dispute the green stripe, it is not hooked to the actuators on this pic. Second pic is from the '68 FSM, and it shows the black line only, which goes directly to the headlight switch in the dash with no other connections.
Thanks, Joe
Do you have the factory service manual diagram?
I have the FSM for '67, but the Electro-Pneumatic Relay is not depicted. I believe there is an image in the '68 FSM, and I have a copy of that. I routed the tubes as the '68 FSM depicted, but the headlights still do not work correctly. I'm asking for someone with one of these cars to check their car and tell me how their vacuum tubes are routed. Thanks.
I am not sure if these pictures of my 68 Eldorado help or hurt. Sorry I didn't have much time tonight but tomorrow or Sunday I can pull my car out into the light and take whatever pictures you want.

Thanks a million, that's exactly what I needed. Those pics are perfect!
