Hi, my name is Joshua im 18 and recently joined the cadillac Lasalle club forum after purchasing a 1950 cadillac series 62. Right now I'm trying to fix the horn ring on my car as it's loose but I noticed when taking off the horn button the rubber ring around it is cracked and falling off, my question is how would I go about fixing that or is it even necessary to have on if it falls off. My worry is the horn button would be loose without it,is there anyway to fix it since it seems the gasket is permanently affixed. Thanks
