Lovely color combination. Will have to scan all the photos more closely. Clay/Lexi
Special order vicodec roof delete. I saw this car at the Valley Forge Region CLC fall show years ago; again this past fall in the Hershey Car Corral. No mention of the painted roof in the description but "hydraulic power windows" is claimed. People who write descriptions don't know what they're talking about half the time. Otherwise the car is a very nicely preserved original.
I want it. What do you think this kinda baby would go for?
Hard to say. Here's one that a friend had a hard time selling. Ultimately it sold in the mid/upper 30s which was far lower than he was expecting. The market isn't as strong on mid 50s Cadillacs as it had been.

I was thinking 35ish. She was sold new in the same area as Shelley, my 59.
I think the asking price at Hershey was in the 50s but not certain. I don't know what it sold for but I doubt 35k is going to get the job done. Raleigh has cultivated an audience for clean originals and they tend to do well there.
Well I'll let sleeping dogs lie then. Theres a clean green one in CA for mid 40s. Granted not this clean but still. Also need another car like a bullet in the head.
I like to use the 'market search' on Classic.com to help figure out current valuations.
It also lists the 'sold price' for auctions.....which is sometimes hard to find.
Key at bottom of graph explains the dot colors.
For 2nd Gen Eldorado, it doesn't know the difference between Seville and Biarritz models, so you have to hover over the dots to figure that out.
Good luck guys....hope this helps:

I bought my 59 flat top SDV at Raleigh. Good people.
I wonder what the 56 went for? Anyone know?
