I purchased a set of 61' bucket seats to install my 1961 Series 62 2dr. The seats came with the appropriate tracks and motor cable however is missing the floor anchor on the transmission mount sides both left and right. Does anyone have a picture of what that looks like? Are any of the these holes in the floor plan pre-drilled on the series 62? I haven't had a chance to pull the carpet back and look.
My plan for these is to have the trim polished, paint the back and clean the tracks and motor. I would not be surprised if the motor worked in these seats after all these years. They were kept in a dry climate for many years as you will see from the attached photos. Not pictured is the bottom of the bucket seat however they are in great shape like the uppers. I am very fortunate to own these seats and thankful the previous owner saw in me I would appreciate them for many years to come.
If you don't find anything, don't neglect the same year for the other GM brands in the wrecking yards. Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile and Buick used the same floor pans, along with other internal parts across the whole range of large cars.

Thanks Bruce!
I have experience with the 63/64 Cadillac bucket seats which may or may not be relevant to 61/62's but thought I would share just in case they are the same setup.
The 63/64 Cadillac Bucket seats use tack welded brackets to mount to floor board in stead of the pre-drilled/tapped holes in the floor for the bench seats. I always remove these when I part a bucket seat car out but many people parting cars do not bother. This means something is going to have to be fabricated to mount to the floor board.
I have inserted a couple of pictures below of the brackets use in 63/64. The center mounted consoles used in 63/64 also had tack welded brackets.

The other "gotcha" items when people buy bucket seats to replace bench seats are the wiring harnesses, switches, and arm rests switch plates for left and right doors. LH bucket seats are 2 way power (4 way optional except Eldo which is standard) and the RH bucket seats are 2 way power, requiring not only different wiring to the left side, but the additional wiring and switches and switch plates for the RH side.
Hey Jason thanks! I will look into this. I appreciate the response 8)
You also lose the light on the back seat. Bucket seat cars have lights in front of the back seat side panels. These are still available at opgi and others.
