1995 Cadillac Eldorado V8 North Star engine with sunroof. Mint condition. For inquiries call [hidden information] only.
Posters Note: I did reach out to this seller. He purchased it from an estate auction of someone who collected cars. Has had it 2 months, so is trying to flip it.
As far as I know, 1995 would be prime Northstar failure years but this is otherwise an early car without the full console. Nice colors and interior. He says it comes with records of maintenance and repairs.
Bryan,
I owned one of these as a low mileage used car, and daily driver, back in the late 90's. Terrific turnpike cruiser and relatively quiet and very comfortable. The Northstar engine provided me with great service, but I did have issues with electronic traction control and also the climate control. Also, you can no longer find replacements for "electronic" shocks. Not like the OLD days when a weak or failing part was something that could be diagnosed visually, these have an electronic display that relentlessly reminds you and your passengers that your car has an issue that needs attention. Detracts from the fun of owning one, even if the purchase price is relatively cheap and it drives fine. I concluded that owning one of these was fine while it was still under warranty, but thereafter, these generally evolved into disappointment and frustration... Hope this helps. James
