trying to get by back seat out of my 62 elderado convertible.
have the bottom out but can't get back.
any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Paul
Paul, if it's the same as '66 look around the underneath of the bottom edge of the cushion for two metal straps screwed into the floor/bulkhead. Remove the bolts and the seat back can be pushed up to releasing the upper engaging clips.....Disconnect the radio speaker wires first.
Cant Find any bolts But Thanks for the input and I will keep looking
If it has the rear armrest, there are usually 2, 1/2" screws that are right behind the material valance in the cut out. Look down in the bottom corners. The metal straps may be hidden underneath the sound deadener. They are usually held in with a 5/8" hex head bolt.
no rear arm rest but thanks for the info
Paul
