Looks like a very pretty well sorted 61!

There is a video of the top in action. In that video you can see a CLC decal on the left rear window.

Anyone that operates a convertible top without first lowering the windows is asking for trouble. I've seen more windows snapped in half this way. In a frame or not, they snap like a piece of kindling if not perfectly aligned with the top frame.

You're correct! It's a roll of the dice; however, as listed in the description, a couple of electric windows don't work.  This appears to be a very low mileage, well maintained example...and the options are super impressive---a/c, power vent windows, etc.  Also, the leather seating looks to be amazingly well preserved, or was redone to a high quality standard.  I owned one of these way back in the 60's through the mid-70's, and they are very durable and feature a totally revised front suspension with ball joints, etc.  I absolutely loved mine... it was white/red leather upholstery, and with the top down on a beautiful night, one could look in the rear view mirror and see the tail light on the wing.

Someone buy it for me and I will fix it up and tell you all about it. Specifically with better pictures than currently in the add.

First will be switching out the Aluminum radiator. I have an original spare I can restore to put in there.

Oh, I'm not arguing the car, that's a beautiful car, just not my color preference. My comment was directed only on how the top was being operated with the windows up. You could park it in my garage any day of the week. (if there was room)

The only thing I personally DONT like is that goofy spot light.  Why oh why do people put those on these cars?

Failed to see the goofy aftermarket aluminum radiator too.  There are plenty of nice Harrison radiators out there that can be had for cheap.  To each their own I guess...

Maybe the Club could develop a 'time share' fractional ownership arrangement for some of the exceptional examples that show up in the for sale section.  Those of us who live outside of temperate zones could purchase 'best weather months' as a fractional share.  My convertibles spend most of the year in storage as Maine truly has two seasons, winter and AUGUST>.

I may opt to go for a Cadillac convertible as opposed to another CDV once the Toro sells.  61-62's are at the top of the list.  Theres a nice 55 Eldo for sale for a decent price, but makes me wonder why its so cheap (59k).
