Situation report. Boots on the ground today in DC.
I spied 70 new GM SUVs all in black.
They all had dealer window stickers and Michigan Lic plates.
Will advise when I find out more intelligence.
NSA? CIA? DIA?
I don't know about the other two agencies, but from indirectly "working" for the NSA as a result of my Army service in Berlin in the 60's, I don't think the spooks at the NSA would drive around in something so conspicuous. They'd be more likely to use something that every day drivers use on the road.
And for your general information, the first commanding General of the NSA was from my small town of Flora, IN. In which reside some 1700 residents.
(We probably aren't supposed to ruminate on what these vehicles are going to be used for...) Thanks for letting us know, anyway.

John, The Presidental Inaugural is in 50 days, most likely someone ordered for VIP transportaion during the inaugural events. FYI: NSA/CIA/DIA stash their new armored SUVs in the old parking garage behind the former Lord & Taylor/Caldor/Sears building at Seven Corners. The building is abandoned now but occasionally there will be any number of 3/4 Surburbans with deep, really deep, green glass parked on the lowler level back our of sight.

Which John are you referring to, sir? It has to be the OP because I have no idea where Seven Corners is.
