Ordered a new exhaust resonator and tailpipe from Classic Exhaust for my '61 coupe, but they don't seem to be a direct replacement. The old resonator has the inlet and outlets offset to opposite sides while the Classic part has them centered (see pics). Also, my tail pipe is straight with a single bend at the rear while the replacement has multiple curves that don't seem to fit in any orientation. Classic assured me their parts are manufactured to original factory patterns. While the inlet pipe could be a replacement, my factory rear hanger is original. I'd rather not have to R and R the pipe and want to keep the bracket stock, but can't see how that's possible. Any suggestions or pics showing how others are set up?
Pics from my exhaust from Waldron's and hangers from Grant in New Zealand.

More pics to show outlet pipe. Note here I hade the pipe on the wrong side of the hanger. The pipe should be above the hanger.

Thanks for the photo. That rear bracket is interesting. Looks nothing like mine and starting to believe resonator and tail pipe were replaced long ago using off brand parts. Looks like a trip to the muffler shop is in the cards.
Where are you at. I have a spare of that rear bracket.
So California, so not that close to you. But that bracket would be a big help. What would you ask to sell and ship?
Can you confirm exactly which bracket you refered to.
You mentioned having the rear bracket. I'm assuming you mean the resonator outlet tail bracket?
This one here. I just like posative confirmation

That's the one. So much better designed than what's currently installed.
