I had seen that and was going to post it but was unable to find it again on the computer I use for the forum.

One thing I'm curious about is what was this intended for?   The gaps and long animated fillers seem a bit odd.   At first I thought maybe it was to be used in conjunction with a live presentation and the gaps were when the live presenter would talk or perhaps a car would be driven on stage but the gaps don't really time out where that would make sense either.

I'm kinda thinking it was likely some endless loop cartridge system that was used in a semi portable display and could be set up at a convention or dealership sort of setting and each section would play on a loop, the hole punch in the solid red leader is a clue because that would have been a cue to the player to stop when it hit that.  There would then be a timer set to restart at a set interval or a push button activated by a presenter or even the general public to start the loop again.

The reason the cuts don't make sense is at some point someone took the film out of the cartridges and spliced them all together as a somewhat continuous program.  They may have had some damage before that process or were damaged in that process so there are little bits missing that would make each section seem more complete or a more natural stopping point.

I get to a completely different video: an interview with a US navy rear admiral...
Did you mean this video:  https://youtu.be/hhsz1Char_c?feature=shared

Skip to about the 1:35 mark if you want to avoid the snazzy '60's muzak.  Cool video, otherwise.

Yes, the 60's music and graphics is funny, but after about a minute I also had enough ;).  :D

Stodgy tone deaf GM corporatists attempting to stay relevant during the psychedelic age of aquarius.

What the execs imagined was going to happen at the auto show that year....
"Hey dudes, I know we were headed to the VW booth but check out this crazy demo in the Cadillac booth, maybe we should all buy Fleetwoods instead of a VW bus".
