I watched both videos, and I was immediately reminded of vehicles that I have worked on that should never have been sold to anyone as good cars. Being well outside USA, and the availability of replacement parts, be it from wrecking yards or shops, this made it very difficult, as it was hard to send the cars back after their importation, and change of ownership.
4 cars come to mind. A 1971 Eldorado Convertible where similar patching of the floor areas showed up, a 1960 Cadillac Convertible that again revealed horrible rust, and worse repairs, a 1964 Chevrolet Coupe with again, horribly covered rust, and a '68 Corvette with bad bodywork, and rust. Yes, Rust in the Windscreen frame and bog everywhere.
I featured the floor replacement of the '71 previously.
Here are some pieces that I bothered to save from previous repairs. People will try to cover up anything with anything, so long as it doesn't show.

I seem to recall that car being for sale not too long ago; all that additional trim was pretty distinctive, to put it diplomatically. But having watched the first video, it's a pretty textbook example of where these cars rust out. Unfortunately, it sounds like somebody's resto budget is going to need another digit.

I don't usually like to rain on someone's parade, BUT REALY.
I for one like a convertible Flintstone Mobile challenge by buying a car that needs some work on the floors and maybe in a small way with rust in the expected places, lower front fenders and lower quarters.
But, the video car was a complete FRAUD, to hide the damage under so many types of cover ups, inside and out, and paint it resale red.
I hope the owner had prior knowledge and only paid $0.29 for it.
The repairs alone must have been astronomical, and likely more than buying a straight rust free car.
That and if the sheet metal was so damaged and missing, how could you trust the running gear etc. etc. etc.
Its origin, A relic from the cargo hold of the Titanic, unearthed - OK wrong era.
Or, found in some swamp in the Florida bayous.
