Lovely... similar to mine, it has an aftermarket "V" grille, but it's not the super charged model (the standard grill is very different). The 2006 has the upgraded transmission. These are durable machines; however, the XLR is so smooth (with magnetic shocks) and quiet that it's simply not a sports car. On long trips, it was hard for me to stay awake. Very low production numbers make these old XLR's a standout. If you're like me, an old guy whom younger folks ignore and you long for the days when folks acknowledged your existence, then do purchase an XLR-- your car will receive many positive comments, and I guarantee, you WILL be acknowledged.

I have a bright high mettalic red XLR.
James and I have exchanged many a story over the years.
I can tell you that of all the cars I have owned - including a 68 GTO (shockingly fast) - the XLR is not only faster it is the car I enjoy - hands down - the most.
And yes, it is noticed.
