Title: Build Records Codes Question about a '67 Sedan DeVille HT
Post by: mbracing on February 27, 2025, 12:26:51 PM
Hallo
I just received the build records copy of my '67 Sedan DeVille HT delivered new here in Italy, most of it is pretty clear and already decoded, but I don't understand the "Outlet Code" number 921122 and what does it means the "Special Request" line, where in my case there is specified a "1" number.
Kindest regards from ITALY.

The outlet code is the number assigned to the dealer to whom the car was originally delivered. Sadly, there is no known master list of outlet codes.

Special Request can denote any number of deviations from standard production. If the car was an export model, it certainly complicates matters since the S/R may or may not have been due to the fact.

Hello again, Mr. Borella. Please contact me privately and I'll see what I can do for you. You contacted me a few years ago about a convertible, as I recall.
