I own a 2001 Cadillac Deville,in crimson pearl. It has a deElegance badge on the rear quarters. What options make it different from other Devilles?
The nameplate is not original to the car because the d'Elegance option was last used in 1999. It was replaced with "DHS" in 2000. The DHS had a few upgrades over the DeVille including rear seat vanity mirrors, genuine "Zebrano" wood trim (simulated plastic wood on DeVille) and power operated rear sunshade plus manually raised sunshades in each of the rear doors. Decklid also carried a "DHS" nameplate.
