Title: Engine & transmission weight of a 1959 390 with Hydramatic

trying to determine the weight of both attached.   Anybody know?  It isn't stated in the Service Manual or Optional Specifications Manual.   Please advise.   Thanks  Tom CLC#6866

900+- a few pounds. The combination gave my cherry picker a real work out. Just when I was settling it into the forward engine mount bolt holes, the bottle jack blew the main seal.

My chart for engine weights for 1959 shows 720 Pounds and the Transmissions are really heave as well.

From experience: the transmission (dry) is about 100 kg or 220 pounds.
