1959 Two-Door 71" Rear Quarter Panel SS Trim & Horn Ring

I have three 1959 two-door 71" rear quarter panel stainless steel trim for sale. All three need restoration, and the worse two are very dented. The best one I think should be a straightforward restoration. My restoration shop says all three are restorable, but the worst one may need some SS welding.

I have seen these listed for sale restored for $1,100. Any interest in these at the following prices, plus shipping cost? (FYI, almost the same price to ship 3 vs. 1):

Best: $600
Dented: $450
Most Dented: $300

I also have an original, unrestored, 1959 Cadillac horn ring for sale that I can unpack and provide pictures if any interest in that. $800 + shipping.

I can deliver these to the 2025 Grand National in Murfreesboro. You can email me, Craig Masterson, directly at BigV8@swbell.net.

Those are for a 4 door sedan at 71".
2 door moldings are 90+ inches.

David, I have a 1959 2-door in my garage and I know of what I speak, based on the tale of the tape (measure).

I can assure everyone that the trim listed for sale is for a two-door 1959 non-Eldo Cadillac.

On non-Eldo two-doors, there are two pieces of trim from behind the door to the rear of car, 26-3/8" and 71" for a total combined length of 97-3/8"

I believe the four-door trim may be 70" long and has a closed end on the narrow end as it terminates at the rear door. My trim listed has an unfinished (open) narrow end as it abuts to the 26-3/8" trim.

Here is a link to an almost 10 year old post of same trim confirming 71" length and open narrow end.

On 1960 two-doors these two rear pieces of trim were combined into one long trim of 99-1/2" long.

'Nuff said...

I'm sorry Big V8, forgive my lack of knowledge. I found the molding below in a pile of'59 trim parts, so it made sense to me that they were the same as a '60. I'll have to look closer at the '59 molding.

No problems, Dave. It wasn't until recently that I learned that the 1960 trim had been combined into one long piece. I always thought they were two pieces, same as the '59. We both are learning, and likely helping to educate others!

I couldn't pass on these moldings, $130 each for two. Now that I know the '60 is one year only, I'll keep them!
