First, a shout out to Jeff Shively and all the folks who put together the "Self Starter". I always enjoy the combination of interesting stories, pictures and technical advice.
The June issue has a great article on a subject near to my heart..."Getting it on the Level, Replacing the Rear Leaf Springs on 1967-1970 Eldorados", by Ian Macartney. My springs are pretty much toast, and the car rides on air shocks. As Ian points out, not really a "Cadillac ride".
With Ian's thorough advice, I might attempt this job, but am curious if others have done this. My concern is the finished level of the car. I would like to be able to adjust ride height, but can't see how one would do this. Anybody been down this road? Thanks, Joe
