Title: What are these loops in the rear floor of my '60 CdV?

These are on both sides.  What are they?

I don't recognize them. Perhaps someone welded them in as attaching points for old-school seatbelts that would have clipped onto them?

I have those in mine but not welded in, and they were for seat belts,

Thanks.  Not sure if mine are welded in or not. Seatbelts were replaced at some point and those aren't in use.
