Title: A/C not coming out of vents
Post by: Jeffrey mang on July 07, 2025, 04:54:05 PM
What would cause the air from my a/c system to not blow out of the vents of my '61 series 62 convertible? Just had system recharged.

Does the air ever change where its coming out when you move the controls?   Like does defrost shift to the windshield?  Full heat go to the floor?    When you are going between heat and AC modes is the temp actually changing?    What I'm trying to figure out is is any of the controls working on your system?  You could have something fairly easy like the vacuum supply line to the stuff inside the car has become disconnected under the hood but if some things do change then that points to what could be more complex issues under the dash.    And this is assuming a 61 uses vacuum controls,   if it doesn't then it won't be a vacuum line but still could be a good test to determine which parts of the system are working and which are not.
