Do the headlights need to come out to install the eyebrow trim on the fenders? Anyone got pics or a good description?
It has been that long since I took them off, but I believe that they are held in place by spring clips. The wire variety.
I know I didn't have any problems getting them off.
I cannot take pictures of the removed parts as they are in Victoria, and I am in Tasmania.
But, if you had one of these cheap Endoscopes, or a conveniently-placed mirror, you should be able to see the backside.

I did this job last year. Yes, the headlights need to come out. Your biggest problem will be finding the correct clips for them. I'll look around and see if I have any left. I suggest googling "1960 CDV eyebrow trim mounting". There will be many posts with pictures and with possible sources for the clips. I did use Christmas trees for the center clip as it did not scratch paint as outside nuts were tightened and they flexed enough the trim pieces did not deform. I suggest unplugging the wire to the top of fender blinker light. With hands and a wrench in there it's easy to pull it out of the light socket thus requiring another repair.
I did search quite a bit. The only thing I found was your post from 2022 and it had no replies. https://forums.cadillaclasalle.club/index.php?topic=167319.0
I did see your reply on the Cadillac 1959 and 1960 Register Facebook page to my same question. Thank you!
I have a full set of clips. They came with the reproduction eyebrow trim. Do you take out the whole headlight assembly?

Both of my '60s are missing those trim pieces so I had no reference to go by.
Yes. The whole thing. Take the chrome door off first. Before doing it look online for pictures of the headlight housing. You can see where the connection points to the body are. When you do get to doing it the nuts are probably rust welded onto the studs so the studs will back out of the housings. Label each stud as to the location it came out of so if you reuse them, they will tighten up correctly as they may be of different length. I tried to make new studs but did not work for me.
