http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6146&item=4515239940&rd=1I had Ralph Messina decode the trim plate for me, not leather interior as claimed.
I thought a Calais would have Calais script on the qtrs, not CDV.
Anybody know the fact of the matter on this question ?

Possible reason for data plate descrepencies: Many Detroit built cars in the pre computer era had premium options added on the line to low line cars. Mostly by line foreman or higher ups for themselves, family or VIPS. This was done with a wink of an eye or "Ill by lunch", making the data plate incorrect. Im not saying this is the case here but a possiblility.
The vehicle is a Calais. The vinyl top along with the crest & wreaths after market add ons. Calais were not available with vinyl tops. Devilles have bright trim on the gas and brake pedals missing in the photos, also the rear seat center arm rest is missing.
