Title: 2004 a very good year for Cadillac
Post by: Rusty Shepherd CLC 6397 on January 05, 2005, 10:39:35 AM
Todays Detroit News, in an article about U. S. automakers continuing decline in market share, called Cadillac the "star performer in GMs portfolio". It continued by saying that Cadillac sales were up 24 percent in December and 8 percent for the year, giving the Division its best year since 1990. Leading the increase were the two hot sales performers, CTS sedan and SRX Luxury Utility. Cadillac also moved up to third place in sales among luxury carmakers, behind Lexus and BMW.

Its refreshing to hear about these gains for our favorite marque. It will be even better when Cadillac can resurrect the slogan in their advertising I recall, when I was about ten years old, "More than ever. . . Americas Number One Luxury Car." Go Cadillac! Go USA!
