Title: Lasalle heads

Hi I am in need of a good head for my 38 L/S engine  .What years head can I use? Will Cadillac heads work?I have one bad head ( pass side) Do I have to replace 2 sides Any one have a
 good set  for sale   772  231-5205   THANKS  RICH

 The set of heads you need are Cadillac part #1419402&1425971 (1942book).They fit 1937-38 Lasalle and 1938 Cadillac 75series. the cylinder head gasket fits 37-48 so Hollander says the newer heads will bolt on.But,the 1939& up heads use 10mm spark plugs vs 14mm in 37-38.Other series use a lower compresion head.And I seem to remmember a varation in the hole size for the water outlet,but I havent found a referance for it. If you can find the correct head it sure would be better. Warren
