Long day- Im looking for the correct diameter of an exhustpipe
for a 39 LaSalle

If you dont have an exhaust pipe now (I assume that this is the pipe from the manifold to the muffler), why not just order it from Classic Exhaust, and theres no worry about details.

In fact, if you feel so disposed, just order the whole shmear from them Ive bought a few stainless systems from them. Theyre beautiful.
