Title: 1966 Hazard flasher switch
Post by: Peter on March 30, 2007, 05:13:06 PM
Hi Folks,

Whilst my Eldorado is in a body off state I want to retro fit the Hazard flasher warning option.

Does anyone know what the switch looked like and where it was mounted on the dash panel

The hand book and manual mention it in the narratives but do not give any info on where the operating switch was fitted nor a picture showing what it looked like.

Thanks in advance

Hi:  My 66 Fleetwood has the option. It is a pull down red clear knob just to the left of the steering colum. It mounts under the dash. The harness connects directly to the fuse block. Many GM cars could have this option in 66, it became standard in 67. Many new old stock are on ebay all the time and the Corvair suppliers have them as well. Hope that helps, Jim
