With screeching belts, make sure that you have the correct "V" shaped belt for the pulley.

The screeching occurs when the belt is running too shallower belt, and the sides of the "V" are not fully engaging the "V" in the pulleys, as in the bottom of the belt riding on the bottom of the pulley.

Lastly, ensure that the sides of the belt are not contaminated with oil or grease, with the same for the pulley.

Pretty sure we saw him @ Hershey last Fall.

He delivered sills for our 42 67 about 2 years ago. Took about 9 months IIRC.

I'll look for his number.

Greg, try USA Parts in West Virginia. Previously they had anynumber of 75-76 door panels with the wood grain and the door pull still attached. I have not been there in a while as it is under new ownership but the new owner purchased the place lock stock and barrel.

SEM paints, interior, automotive exterior, plastic trim (especially) are great. A little more expensive than most, but worth the extra cost
