This information is from November, 2006:    isi@inwave.com Instrument Services Inc., 11765 Main St, Roscoe, IL  61073  (800) 558-2674. At that time they advertised a kit for 1941 Cadillac for $51.00, puls $5.00 for an optional video. They quoted me a price to do mine of $335.00. I was considering the kit, definitely not their conversion at that price, but never pursued.
Another source, I think advertised in HMN,: Palo Alto Speedometer, 718 Emerson St. Palo Alto, CA 94301-2410, (650)-323-0243.
I know nothing about either one of these vendors, just have their info in my data & stuff manual.

Are you looking for a clock already converted, or someone to convert yours for you.  There are several outfits out there that will do them.

This one is in Virginia ---- http://www.autoinstruments.com/index.html

Here's the site for the one in Roscoe, Ill. ---- http://clocksandgauges.com/index.html

Hemmings Motor News has ads for several clock and gauge repair businesses that will convert your clock.

I have found a conversion company , Clockworks (they can be found on the web at clockwks dot com- I can't post a link on the site) They have quoted me $91.95 to convert my clock and send it back . They also say the entire process will take 48hrs in their shop . I will be sending my clock by weeks end and will report back my experience . Thanks for the replies .    Jimi Marshall    #20531

Jimi,
If you type it in like this ---  www.clockwks.com  ---- it automatically becomes a link when you post it here.

Maybe Webmaster Jeff Hansen will read this and get it straightened out for you.  Or contact Jeff by clicking on Email under his name on one of his posts.  Good luck.

Guests can't post links? Is that true?

I'm a guest and I post links here all the time. Maybe I shouldn't say anything.

Oh well.

Forrest,

Yes, it is true that guests cannot post links.  This keep the spammers and spambots away.

You are not a guest; you are a member of this forum.  If you were a guest, the word, "guest," would appear right under your name to the left of your posts.

Oh, I got it now. I thought I was a guest because I'm not a club member. I did register all my info, though so that explains it.

For less than $20, you can convert a '41 clock to a battery operated quartz movement.  It's an easy job.  The single AA battery lasts well over a year.
