Hello all-

I have a friend with a very nice '64 Convert for sale. The car has been in Southern California since approx 1972, Illinois car originally.
The car has been mechanically brought up to snuff entirely. This car was bought and mechanically restored with the intention of doing a Route 66 run but plans have changed.
The brakes, suspension, A/C-comfortron, exhaust, maintanance and more were redone and made road trip ready.  The car is equipped with A/C, tilt wheel, cruise control, twilight sentinel, guidematic, trumpet horn, am radio and 6 way seat. The front seat has been redone correctly in leather with perforated inserts. The balance of the interior is very well preserved and nice although the carpet is worn a bit thin. The radio is sporadic but the power antenna is functional.
Original exterior color is Nevada Silver with white interior and black carpets and black top. The trunk side panels and forward carpet panels are decent original, bottom carpet has been covered.
The exterior was repainted a long time in a light tan color and is showing its age.   This car can be enjoyed as driver in comfort with the top up or down as is or redo it in its original silver or any color due the white interior.
Pictures to follow-
Looking for about $14.5k.

My name is Richard Kalisvaart and I'm looking for a 64 convertible. My friend lives in LA so he can take a look at the car. In which town is the caddy. Can you send my some photo's.

Thanks Richard.
