Hi ,
I was wondering if anyone has converted there 59 brakes from manual adjusting to self adjusting?  What parts would I need to do this?  How long  did it take?
Thanks in advance,
Bob

All you need is the mechanism from a 1960 car, and the Backing Plates.

If you don't get the Backing Plates, you will need to cut a slot in the bottom of the them to access the "Adjusting Wheel" so it can be backed off when removing brake drums.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the reply.  The pictures were a great help.  So what I think I need are the rod, level and the star wheel adjuster.
Thanks again,
Bob
