Is there a trick to removing the 1157A bulb.  Do I need to twist it, or just pull it straight out??

thx

in slighlty then counter clockwise maybe 1/8 turn.

G'day 68DevCon.

It is a Dual Filament (Stop ands Tail Light) and is a twist-out type.

But, if it has been in there a long time, it will have to be pushed in first and then twisted counter clockwise to remove.   I have known the solder in the bases globes to slightly take the shape of the pins they are sitting on and sometimes they are difficult to get out.

Sometimes it is best to use gloves in case the glass shatters due to the pressure involved.
