80-85 Seville Elegante colors

Whate were the exclusive 2 tone combinations offered on Elegante' models for these years?  Were any single tone colors available or just a chosen few?

My 80 & 81 color charts don't show the optional two tone paint schemes.

The 82 chart shows:
Sheffield Grey FM  over Sable Black
Desert Dusk FM over Brownstone.
Red Cedar FM over Colorado Copper.

The 83 Chart shows:
Briar FM over Briar Brown.
Silver Sand over Sable Black.
Sonora Saddle FM over Beech FM.
Woodland Haze over Briar Brown.

The 84 Chart shows:
Balboa Blue over Hatteras Blue.
Woodland Haze over Briar Brown.
Georgian Silver over Royal Maroon.
Georgian Silver over Sable Black.

The 85 Chart shows:
Corinthian Blue FM over Commodore Blue.
Desert Frost FM over Burlwood Brown.
Academy Grey over Charcoal FM.
Academy Grey over Sable Black.

I just dug out my 80 & 81 catalogs.

For 1980:
Sheffield Grey FM over Sable Black,
Norfolk Grey over Sheffield Grey FM,
Desert Sand FM over Canyon Rock Brown.

for 1981:
Sheffield Grey FM over Sable Black.
Superior Blue metallic over Twilight Blue.
Desert Sand Firemist over Briarwood Brown.
Mulberry Grey FM over Bordeaux Red.

Jim,

No mention in the catalogs if you could order a single tone colour on the Elegante'.

But you could order optional two-toned selections on the base Sevilles, but not in 1980 as the base model didn't have the chrome swoop divider molding.   That chrome was added in 81 on all Sevilles.    The base Sevilles had different two-toned combinations to choose from.

First year was 1978 and was offered in two colours.  But only one colour combo in 1979.

Paint (1978): 15 - Platinum Metallic and 19 - Sable Black

or
96 - Western Saddle Firemist and 69 - Ruidoso Brown Metallic.


Paint (1979): 90 - Slate Firemist and 19 - Sable Black
