Does anyone know how to replace the opera lights on a 1991 Eldorado?  Maybe before I ask that question, I should ask, does anyone know where to get replacement opera lights for a 1991 Eldorado?  I have a good Eldorado with 50K on it, but the opera lights do not work.  This is the only thing I have found not working on the car which is a shame.  If you have the answer to any of these questions, please help.  Thank you. George

Im not sure about that model or era but in some cases these were a fiber optic thing that ran off a light bulb in the trunk.

Most likely not a bulb, but an electroluminescent strip that glows when on.     These fade and deteriorate with age, sun light exposure and weather.     The chances of finding a good NOS are slim to none.    But if you are able to remove the lamp assembly you can rebuilt them using EL strip parts.
