I'm swaping the drivetrain out of my 53 coupe 62 and I was wondering if anyone know what newer 10 or 12 bolt chevy year and make of a rear end would be an exact swap? The spring g perches is not an issue just the total length because I still plan on running the stock wheels and tires

It has been a long time, but I seem to remember Cadillacs and Chevys not having the same bolt pattern, though they are both five lug.  I have broken a lot more Chevy rear ends than Cadillac.  The Cadillac is a beefy rear end, though perhaps later Chevys are too. I would carefully check the bolt pattern and even mount the Cadillac wheels on the Chevy rear end if you find the patterns are the same. There are other variables such as the center hole in the wheels and the center on the ends of the axles, they obviously need to be compatible.

Bolt pattern is not an issue I have a set of 53 Chevy wheels if it is I just wondering if there's a rearend that is the same length as the stock

Just as a side note, I wouldn't use 53 Chv wheels that are narrower, I believe, and probably not made for a car 1/2 ton heavier.
