Not too much to do

I'll be getting my 77 Seville delivered in a few weeks from Washington state, and from the estate photos, there's little to do but A/C refurbishing, changing hoses and seals, tune up and a few dings to fix.  The only "big" thing is the lower door panel section of the driver's door which is pulling away from the base panel.  If I remember correctly, I should be able to reinforce attachment points with only a little ingenuity.  If anyone else has a tip, I'd certainly appreciate any input.  Any source for that light blue leather (vinyl?) that covers that lower arm rest section?  It's split in a few places.

I see your door panel has the same problem as mine.  I'll post progress on the "cure."  I could however use the large trim bezel that the door pull is part of from the front passenger door if it's in good condition.  Over many years of a ladies ring having scratched the woodgrain in the door pull "well," it's gone.  Is your steering wheel in very good shape?  mine has minor cracking of the woodgrain that might be repaired. The vertical rectangular woodgrain piece in the middle of the picture is what I need.  I'm assuming it comes off the panel e- mail me a price with shipping to New Mexico (U.S.P.S. is fine).

You'll want to verify the wood grain is correct.  Cadillac used several different grain patterns in the Seville.  I discovered that issue when getting dash parts for our 79 Seville.  Since Johnny is parting a 76 and you have a 77, you may be in luck.  Either that, or replace all of the panels. 

Good luck with the restoration.  Please post your solution for the armrest repair.  It's a common issue with these cars.  Our 79 has similar breakage, although the armrests still sit on the door properly.
