Just read this article. The translation is a bit off, but cool car

Dont think it is rwd like they say on the spec sheet. But who knows.

That is a strange car for sure.  The front clip and some sheet metal seems to be an Eldorado, but the wheels look like rear wheel drive, not the off center wheels the FWD Eldorado used.

Got to be RWD as those are definitely RWD Rims.

As you probably know, Franco Sbarro has a shop in Switzerland. Some of his crations are from a genious, some are less fantastic...

While the wheels look RWD  , the frame layout sure looks like GMC Motorhome   which was FWD and dual rear axles.  Tim Pawl

The Tassie Devil(le)

If you ran RWD wheels on the front, you wouldn't be able to move the car as the tyres would be hard up under the wheel openings, and poking outside the fenders by a couple of inches at a minimum.

Exactly, that is why I believe there is a rear wheel drive chassis under the Eldo sheet metal.

Sbarro built a second "multi-wheeled", rear drive car on a similar Cadillac chassis which I believe was used for lab testing tires. There's a pic of both cars in the Cadillac Database:  http://cadillacdatabase.org/Dbas_txt/Drm70-74.htm

The second vehicle was not by Sbarro as far as I know. It was done with 3 new Eldorados "offered" by GM. The guy owning that vehicle is living at 15 km from me; I remember he bought the vehicle for 1 Swiss Franc. As the 3 cars never went through the customs, the resulting vehicle cannot be licensed. It's just a huge flowerpot, if this expression is used in English (pot de fleur pour un véhicule qui ne peut pas être immatriculé)!
