Mr. Ahmad,

That's a spectacular car.  Can you tell me who built the body?  It doesn't look like any of the body styles that Fleetwood offered for the 1930 and 1931 V-16s.

I see that the car was built with right-hand drive, and that is also unusual.

Congratulations on getting it to run so smoothly and quietly.  Thank you for sharing the video.

This is a custom job by Van den Plas, UK and Belgium. What I know about it is included in the Cadillac Database, here: www.cadillacdatabase.org/dbas_txt/v6srv30b. That information is probably out of date, judging from the recent post from the Pakistani gentleman.

It's a makeshift 6V battery.  I have ordered Optima Red Top 6V  battery, which is due to be delivered in second week of Sept. 2012. Hopefully, the engine will turn much faster then.

That sounds great, I can't wait until I can start my 1940 V16

I believe many club members would be interested, like me, to know the current status of this rare car, its more recent history (from around the start of the New Millennium), and any current restoration plans.  Some more recent photos (inside and out) would also be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Mr. Saunders is absolutely correct about the interest of other club members (me, for example)!

Club members can also help you locate parts for your engine and chassis.  Excellent modern reproductions of many parts are available.

A number of club members have owned, worked on, and operated Cadillac V-16s for many years, and they can help you adjust and service your car.  They have helped me a great deal with my V-16.

Good luck, and enjoy that marvelous car!
