Some of you may be aware of a new Cadillac club in Ontario. We have been running now for just a bit more than 2 1/2 years. We are small but growing.

Last year we held our first Show and Shine in Kitchener, Ontario. It was a success, and we are planning our next the second show this year to be held on August 26. We have moved our venue to Doon Pioneer Village, also in Kitchener, Ontario. An excellent venue for a show. Our format is somewhat differant from most shows in that we host the show, but allow other brands of cars 1985 and older. They are separated to Cadillac and other marque areas.

This year we have extended an invitation to two other clubs in the area, the Packard Club and the British Car Society. This should complement the display nicely. Also there will be live entertainment courtesy of Blues artists Mo' Kauffey and Max Bent. Other attractions are in the works.

The show will benefit Epilepsy Waterloo Wellington.

Someone has graciously put together a video of our first show. I'm not familiar with the person.

I would like to extend the invitation to members of the CLC to attend. You will be most welcome. The more Cadillacs the merrier!

Check out the village.

Hello

I have heard good news about your club.

Epilepsy is a great cause to contribute to. I will be at your event bright and early. If you need a free judge with experience that will refuse all bribes except good blues music I'm your man.
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

Excellent! We'll look forward to seeing you. However, it's not a judged event. Just kick back, relax and enjoy.

I attended the monthly meeting of the British Car Society and have confirmation that they will attend. Also, there will be members from the Packard Club.

It should be a good time!

Added your August show as an event on the CaddyInfo forum also  http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?app=calendar&module=calendar&section=view&do=showevent&event_id=13 and the events show in the sidebar on the main index.

Good luck with the show; sounds like fun & a good cause.

Just a bit more than a week away. It looks to be a good show. Lots of local advertising, and the Region of Waterloo is really on board with us.

Ladies and Gentlemen

I just returned from this fantastic car show. It was over 400 miles but it was well worth the journey. The host committee were friendly and the members displayed beautiful Cadillac's. Thanks

Chuck,

Thank you for the kind words. And I really appreciate you making the trip to see us! I'm sorry I did not get to spend more time with you yesterday, but I was pulled pretty thin.

I'm glad you enjoyed the show. This will be an annual event in the same location every year. All members of your region, and the CLC will be welcomed.

We did have a great turnout of Cadillacs. Even with the presence of the British Car Society, and all the other marques, the Cadillacs outnumbered everyone. The show was a great success and I have had nothing but compliments on the venue, the quality and number of Cadillacs that came, and the music.

Steve Plunkett supplied the feature car, and he certainly did not disappoint. The 1932 370B Sport Phaeton had me awestruck. What a stunningly beautiful car! Plus he has told me that he will provide the feature car for all of our future shows.

We haven't tallied the numbers yet, but I think we raised close to $1,000 for Epilepsy Waterloo Wellington.
