1939 - 1940 Rims/Wheels

Hi,   Guessing yes, and I know I have to get an illustrated parts manual, but are 1939 and 1940 Cadillac/LaSalle wheels interchangeable?
If answer is yes any other years interchangeable with 39/40?

Well it depends on what series you have...

If you provide that I can tell you what will interchange.

39 and 40 small series wheels interchange and only those years if you want the exactly correct wheel.  Later small series cars had 15" wheels but they fit on the hubs.  Later large series cars fit and are 16" but they are slightly wider.  Large series 38, 39 and 40 are the same but do not fit small series.  They are 6 lug bolt and a much heavier wheel.

Hi, the wheels are from series 50.  So I guess the 39 and 40 wheels are the same then if they are Series 50. 
What if any Cadillac series wheels would fit Series 50 1939/40 LaSalle?   Thanks for the help!!

Small seriess will fit.

1939 series 50, 60S, and 61
1940 series 50, 52, 60S, and 62.
