1938 Cadillac steering wheel NOS with orig box??? Help

Hi, I'm brand new to your forum and not really a car guy.
I bought this item at a local estate sale and need a little help in correctly identifying it when I sell it.
The wheel is NOS and came in its original box. Box is a little worse fo wear but not brittle.
Sorry for my poor photos, but I have an old camera.
The GM part number stamped on the box is 1426169.I'm thinking it is for a 1939 Cadillac, but not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's a 1938 wheel. A good find! What is that yellow tag? I would carefully remove that ASAP.
Value depends on condition. They are being restored by many companies.

The yellow tag was just a paper price tag put on by the estate sale company. Already removed with no issues

It's a 1938 Deluxe wheel. The '39 was similar, with ivory plastic, and a relief in the spokes for a horn ring. The deluxe wheel was available as an accesory for most, if not all 38 model Cadillacs, and optional for LaSalle.

Nice find. I've had one like that in the box for 50+ years. While the original plastic on my 1938 Cadillac 60 Special is still good, I've left my new wheel in the box all those years.

Thanks for the help guys. I guess my next decision is going to be where to best sell it. Here or ebay.
If I were to sell it here I'd need to know what a fair price would be since I have no clue. On ebay I could just put it up for auction.
