49 Hubcap Medallion

I noticed AllCads and also Bill Hirsh sells the medallions for the somberos .Has anyone purchased these items from them and what did they think about the price and quality.Also if you have any feedback from any other suppliers.Thanks Charlie M.

The great debate of the 1970s was whether or not plain red, or candy apple red was the "correct" background color for the emblems. I think it's pretty much settled down to candy apple as that was what you got when you ordered them from Cadillac back then in the late 1960s when you could still get them.

Either supplier has good products and they will really smarten up your car. As for price, that is a personal matter for you to decide what you are willing to pay. Quality is probably similar. Or, you can buff off the paint to brighten up the brass, and repaint them yourself.

Thanks Jeff.    Hirsch was $ 47.   Mcveys $55.    AllCads$65.   eBay had the ones that you posted from motorspotwebmaster was the seller for $37.I believe i will be going with the ones for $37 .I dint see anything wrong with them.I am being frugal because I bought some already privately only to have my wife through out the envelope being it was so light she thought it was empty.these are turning out to be $300 medallions.Well moving on from that argument.Charlie M.
