Does anyone know who has the retainer clips for the stainless rocker strips on a '38 Sixty Special?

I'd like to know this as well. Mine are just randomly screwed on.

I can't tell you exactly which number it is but Restoration Specialties & Supply, PA has them.  Most likely they won't know the number either but they have many clips and you just have to find them by dimensions.  If you an old one to send them that really helps.  There were no screws in these originally and they are a real pain to fix.

Can you tell me the part number of the ones you got? How many did you need?

Upon closer inspection my rocker panel trim pieces are not correct for the car. Repairing screwed on would be difficult, finding clips... not so difficult but not easy. Finding correct and intact trim pieces? I think near impossible.

Joe... If you order Restoration Specialties Catalog at 814-467-9842 , they feature full size drawings of hundreds of fasteners to make it very simple to size the fasteners to your moldings and eliminate the guesswork.bb
