Having found the parts I can, and the weather having become more hospitable, I'm trying to put my fuel tank back onto my '72 Eldorado Convertible.

Calling the old lines "hard, brittle, and inflexible" would be an understatement  :P, so I picked up 5"/16" and 3/8" fuel line.

The 3/8" fits snugly on the center red connection, and the 5/6 nicely onto the white sending unit connections.

edit:  the two on the sending unit appear to be different sizes, but the small hose seems to fit either.

But for the blue (driver's side), which sure looks between these two sizes, I can't slide the 5/16 on, and the 3/8 is loose.   (And, naturally, I don't remember where I filed my caliper in my tools; I just plain have too many to keep track of.)

Does anyone know what size this (and the green on the other side) should be?

If I get this on, I can drive a few miles before pulling the leaky water pump . . .

Napa tells me that there's no such thing as an 11/32 fuel line . . .

So with the help of hot water, I got the 5/16 onto the two medium sized lines.  It went easily onto the small one from the sending unit.

I have the tank mounted loosely, with the straps back in place and the bolts loose.

Any bright ideas on how to get these hoses onto the car ends???
