Hello everyone.  My father has a 1960 Cadillac 62 series 2 door hotrod project.  He wants 20" or 22" wheels but he can't find the max width he can go without having to modify anything on the rear quarter or fenders.  If anyone can help please do.  Thank you in advance.

Abe,

You will have more luck getting some answers from the Modified Chapter of the club:

This particular board is mainly focused on originality with the cars.  I have two 60 Cadillacs with 235/75/15 tires on stock rims and you have to wrestle with them to get them off of the car even on a lift with the suspension hanging and the skirts off.

With 22's I would think you need to narrow the rear and tub the car, but really don't have a clue.

Good luck,

Brian
