I sure hate to hear a story like this. I have a number of cars that I will not leave unattended for just this reason. Stuff seems to just “walk away,” even items that are of no use to the person that stole it. Who really needs the gearshift knob from a 1929 Caddie except the owner of another 1929 Caddie - and yet it walked off. I hope you find a replacement.
